The Santorini series is generated from the topography of the caldera, the collapsed volcanic crater that defines the island's silhouette. The algorithm reads the landscape's contours and resolves them into a three-dimensional sculptural form. The earthy palette echoes the caldera's natural tones, each one chosen to carry a fragment of the island into the object.
Each piece is distinct. Every piece is printed and glazed individually, so no two emerge exactly alike.
Fired at 1220°C. Designed as a sculptural object for interior display.
