GENERAL INFORMATION
- All BinaryCeramics pieces are 3D-printed in ceramic and fired in our studio in Athens, Greece. Each piece is an original work — minor variations in colour, texture, and surface are inherent to the process and are not defects.
- Ceramics shrink slightly during drying and firing. Small variances in dimensions may occur.
- All glazes are applied by hand. Variations in shading and finish occur naturally and make each piece unique.
- Screen colours vary between devices. The actual glaze colour may differ slightly from what you see on your monitor. Contact us if you would like additional photographs before ordering.
- Our pieces are designed as sculptural and decorative art objects. They are not intended for functional use such as holding food, water, or liquids.
- Avoid sudden extreme temperature changes — for example, moving a piece directly from a cold environment into a hot one. This can shock the ceramic body and cause cracking.
DISPATCH AND SHIPPING
- Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days from our studio in Athens, Greece. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.
- We ship worldwide via tracked courier services.
- Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
- Greece: 2–5 business days
- Europe: 5–10 business days
- United States: 7–14 business days
- Rest of world: 10–21 business days
- These are estimates and may vary depending on your location and local postal services. We cannot be held responsible for delays after an order leaves our studio.
- Every piece is packed with care using protective packaging designed for fragile ceramic objects.
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct. If an order must be re-sent due to an incorrect address, the cost of re-shipping is the customer's responsibility.
CUSTOMS AND IMPORT DUTIES
- International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, or taxes imposed by your country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.
- We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order. We are not responsible for any obligations or import taxes that may apply.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
- All prices are listed in Euros (€). Prices are subject to change without notice. The price shown at the time of your order confirmation is the price you will be charged.
- We accept payment by credit and debit card (via Shopify Payments) and PayPal.
RETURNS
- We do not accept returns or exchanges. Each piece is a handcrafted ceramic art object and all sales are final.
- If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@binaryceramics.com with your order number and clear photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
- Claims without photographs that clearly document the damage cannot be processed.
- Please do not return damaged items unless we specifically request it.
