Exploring the concept of creating complexity with simple rules has been a fascination of mine for years, and it never ceases to amaze me. Nature is a master at this, with the four chemical building blocks known as nucleotides coming together in a chain to form the intricate code of life known as DNA.

Humans have also devised ways to generate immense complexity from basic principles, such as the game of Go, which has more possible combinations than there are atoms in the observable universe.

As I delve deeper into this idea, I am constantly struck by the endless possibilities that can arise from simple foundations.

In my design process, I have found that computational design is a powerful tool for revealing complex patterns and shapes that emerge from a few basic rules. The ability to generate complexity from simplicity is something that captivates me and that I strive to incorporate into my work.
